Well I’m not located in the UK, but they are producing cars again. I believe the first new model will be coming out in 2017. All the deposits have already been collected and they haven’t even released the full details yet.

They aren’t making the new car yet as it’s still in testing, it’s due 2017-8. What they have been doing till now it restoring a supply chain and remanufacturing parts for existing TVRs. It’s good practice to iron out kinks before the new car goes into production. The factory in Wales is coming on well.

Cool. Hope they get a plan to make some TVR cars in the US too. I’m tired of staring at virtual versions of the Griffith 500 and Speed Six in Gran Turismo.

I should think TVR will have the U.S. Very much in mind with keeping it to TVR form but also modernising it for universal sale. They could make a killing in the U.S. Without any marketing what so ever.

Seeing them on screen or computer rendered doesn’t do them justice to seeing and hearing them in person. They look and sound beautiful. My favourite being the TVR 350 Tasmin. It sounds like Thor screaming to be let out.
